Our Story
Our journey began with a passion for nature and adventure. The idea of creating something exceptional in the heart of Nordland began to take shape. Armed with boldness and a vision to provide spectacular experiences, we approached Bodø Municipality. Together, we aimed to establish a distinctive climbing facility that would enrich the region and offer people an opportunity to challenge themselves in a safe and thrilling way.
Our team is made up of dedicated individuals who are passionate about outdoor activities. We take pride in our experienced guides who welcome our guests with enthusiasm and expertise. Our seasoned guides are experts in climbing and safety, committed to guiding both large and small groups through our via ferrata. Their extensive knowledge and experience ensure a safe and exciting experience for every participant at Rampen.
Svein Inge Sjøbu
Svein Inge Sjøbu, our Operations Manager at Rampen, has extensive experience in safety and emergency preparedness related to rescue services. He is passionate about outdoor activities year-round and ensures that our guests feel safe while enjoying a unique experience.
Krisztian Karlsen
Krisztian Karlsen is an experienced guide with a background as a paramedic and a passion for outdoor activities. He ensures safe and memorable experiences and has a deep knowledge of the mountains, with experience in both secured and unsecured climbing.
Tijs Holstein
Tijs Holstein, a dedicated guide, runs PUST at the Bodø harbor and is an avid outdoor enthusiast with a focus on outdoor activities and climbing. He brings his energy and love for nature to Rampen, guiding our guests on a memorable journey.
