Unique climbing routes
Rampen offers various climbing routes that take you on an adventurous journey up the mountain. Our two main routes, Vikingveggen and Sølvskatten, offer unique views and fun climbing, each with its own unique challenges.
The Viking Wall is suitable for everyone, from beginners to those with extensive experience - and regardless of skill level. The Silver Treasure is recommended for experienced Via Ferrata climbers who want a challenge, as the route offers varied climbing and ends with an overhang.

Safe experiences
Going via ferrata on Rampen is a spectacular and at the same time safe experience. All tours are conducted with a guide who has solid climbing experience. We adapt the pace to the group so that everyone can take in the surroundings and impressions, and have a unique experience together. All climbing at Rampen must be done with a guide.

Most people who want to can go via ferrata with us. The safety equipment we use is approved for use by people between 40 – 120 kg. Small children and pregnant women cannot participate in our tours.

We provide all the safety equipment for climbing. You should bring clothes that are suitable for the weather and good shoes. The shoes should fit well on the foot and have good friction. An energy bar and a small water bottle can also be useful to replenish energy along the way.

No, climbing experience is not necessary to do our via ferrata. Together with our guides, everyone can take part in this experience and be sure to get help along the way if they need it.

No. We are only open for guided tours.

There is no limit to how many people can climb together, but we estimate a maximum of 6 people per guide. On trips with larger groups we have more guides. We need at least two people registered to run the trip.

All climbing and travel in steep terrain involves a certain amount of risk, but we have a strong focus on making sure it is safe. The climbing routes are built with a focus on safety and everyone receives a thorough review of the equipment we use and how to proceed safely.

If you are coming by car from Midnattssolveien (county road 834), there is parking on a gravel lot along the road at the exit to Bratten Aktivitetspark. The meeting point for the tour is at the brown house with the Rampen sign inside the area. Here you will receive equipment and training before we walk together to the start of the via ferrata.
