Responsibility and information

As a customer and booking agent, it is important to familiarize yourself with all relevant information and rules related to the activity or event in question. If you are going to participate in one of Rampen's activities, especially Via Ferrata, you must thoroughly familiarize yourself with the safety rules .

If you are booking for others, you are also responsible for ensuring that everyone in your group is informed of and accepts these terms and conditions.

Disclaimer

• I understand that all travel in nature, on water, and especially climbing and activities on the Rampen Via Ferrata involve risk, and that participation in all activities and stays at the center is at my own risk.

• I am obliged to follow the safety rules and instructions from the staff. This is to ensure my own safety and that of others in the best possible way.

• I am obliged to notify staff if I discover errors and/or deficiencies in the facility, or see that the behavior of others may lead to risk.

• Rampen disclaims any liability for damages that may occur during climbing or other activities at the facility and during other activities.

• I am familiar with the safety rules set by Rampen and will follow them when visiting the facility and participating in activities.

• I am aware that participation in Via Ferrata or RIB is not recommended for pregnant women, or for people with back, neck or pelvic problems, or other conditions that can be aggravated by physical strain, as this carries a high risk of further health damage.

• I am aware that participation in several of our services involves a certain risk of accident and injury. By purchasing Rampen's services, you accept this risk.

Ordering and payment

Scheduled tours:

• All payment is made upon booking, and the total amount is charged 100%.

• Payment is made with Vipps or Visa or MasterCard through our payment providers Nets and Stripe.

• After successful payment, you will receive a receipt and booking confirmation by email.

• Unused gift cards are not refunded.

Private group tours:

• Payment is made by agreement, and you will receive an order confirmation after approval of the offer and ordering via invoice.

Booking is binding.

Scheduled tours:

• A booking is binding once you have paid and received confirmation by email.

• Check that the dates and important details in the booking are correct.

• Rampen cannot be held responsible for technical problems that may affect your order.

• Rampen cannot be held responsible for errors and omissions in information provided by the customer during booking.

Private group tours:

• A booking is binding when you have accepted the offer and received order confirmation by email.

• Check that the dates and important details in the booking are correct.

• You accept that you have the authority to book and accept on behalf of yourself and any travel companions, and assume responsibility for ensuring that payment is made to us for all participants in your group.

• Rampen cannot be held responsible for errors and omissions in information provided by the customer during booking.

Cancellation and change

Scheduled tours:

• Cancellations less than 48 hours before the activity will be charged 100% of the total amount.

• Cancellations more than 48 hours before the activity are free of charge, and you will receive a full refund.

• Cancellations must be made by email to hello@rampen.com

Private group tours:

• You can cancel your booking free of charge up to one week before the activity departure. Any amount paid will be refunded in full.

• If cancelled between one week and 48 hours before the start of the activity, 50% of the agreed amount will be charged.

• If cancelled within 24 hours before the start of the activity, 80% of the agreed amount will be charged.

• Cancellations must be made by email to hello@rampen.com

Reservations

• We reserve the right to correct any errors in prices or descriptions.

• We reserve the right to cancel activities due to weather conditions or other unforeseen events beyond our control, and cannot be held responsible for this.

• In order for an activity to be carried out, Rampen has set a minimum number of participants that must qualify for all activities offered by Rampen. If the activity cannot be carried out due to the number of participants, you will be refunded the full amount, or will not be charged for the activity.

• We reserve the right to refuse participation in an activity if the person concerned poses a safety risk to themselves or others, or behaves in a manner that is a nuisance to the other participants and/or guide.

Insurance

• You are responsible for any necessary insurance related to your trip and activities, including travel and leisure insurance.

Participation at your own risk

• If you have booked guided activities, you must follow the instructions from our guides.

• We reserve the right to refuse participation in an activity if the person concerned poses a safety risk to themselves or others, or behaves in a manner that is a nuisance to the other participants and/or guide.

• Participation in activities provided by Rampen is at your own responsibility and risk.

• The influence of alcohol and/or other drugs in connection with the activity is strictly prohibited. If you are denied participation due to suspicion of being under the influence, the amount paid will not be refunded / you will be charged the amount for the booking.
