Responsibility and information

The customer and the person ordering the ticket are obliged to familiarize themselves with all relevant information and applicable rules related to the activity or event in question. When participating in one of Rampen's activities, including Via Ferrata in particular, the participant must thoroughly familiarize themselves with the safety rules in force at all times.

If the booking is made on behalf of others, the booking party is responsible for ensuring that all participants are made aware of and have accepted these terms and conditions. 

Disclaimer

When booking and/or participating in activities arranged by Rampen The customer and/or participant declares the following:

• I acknowledge that participation in activities organized by Rampen involves a certain risk of accidents and injuries, and that such participation is at one's own risk. By booking and/or participating in Rampen's activities, I accept this risk.

• I confirm that I have familiarized myself with Rampen's safety rules , and undertake to comply with all safety rules and instructions given by Rampen's staff. 

• I undertake to immediately notify Rampen's staff if I discover any errors or deficiencies in equipment, vehicles or the facility, or if I observe other conditions that may pose a risk to my own safety or the safety of others.

• I am aware that some of the activities offered by Rampen may involve physical strain, and that such activities are not recommended for pregnant women, people with back, neck or pelvic problems, or people with other health conditions that may be aggravated by physical strain.

• I am aware that driving motorized vehicles in connection with activities arranged by Rampen assumes that the participant has a valid driver's license that meets the current legal and regulatory requirements. I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to document that I meet these requirements when participating in activities where a driver's license is a prerequisite.

• I confirm that I have read, understood and accepted this liability statement in its entirety, and that the statement is binding on me and any participants I book on behalf of.

Ordering and payment

Scheduled tours

• Payment is made upon booking, and the total amount is charged in full.

• Payment can be made via Vipps, or via Visa or MasterCard through our payment providers Nets and Stripe.

• After successful payment, the customer will receive a receipt and order confirmation by email.

• Unused gift cards are not refunded.

Private group tours

• Payment is made by agreement.

• After approval of the offer from Rampen , the customer will receive an order confirmation and invoice for payment by email, unless a payment method other than invoice has been agreed. 

Booking is binding.

Scheduled tours

• An order is binding when the customer has completed the payment and received order confirmation by email. 

• The customer is responsible for checking that the dates and other details in the order are correct.

• Rampen cannot be held responsible for technical problems that may affect the order, or errors and/or omissions in the information provided by the customer when ordering. 

Private group tours

• An order is binding when the customer has accepted the offer and order confirmation has been received by email.

• The customer is responsible for checking that the dates and other details in the order are correct.

• The person making the booking confirms that they have the authority to enter into an agreement on behalf of themselves and other participants on whose behalf the booking is being made, and assumes responsibility for Rampen receives payment from all participants. 

• Rampen cannot be held responsible for errors and/or omissions in the information provided by the customer when ordering.

Cancellation and change

Scheduled tours

• Cancellations or changes made by the customer later than 48 hours before the start of the activity do not entitle you to a refund, and will be charged 100% of the total amount.

• Cancellation or change made by the customer 48 hours or more before the start of the activity is free of charge, and the amount paid will be refunded in full.

• Cancellations or changes must be made in writing by email to hello@ rampen .com

Private group tours

• Cancellation or modification can be made free of charge up to seven (7) days before the start of the booked activity. The amount paid will be refunded in full. 

• In case of cancellation or change later than seven (7) days before the start of the booked activity, Rampen right to full payment.

• Cancellations or changes must be made in writing by email to hello@ rampen .com

Reservations

Rampen reserves the right to correct any errors in prices, descriptions or other information.

• Rampen reserves the right to cancel or change planned activities if safety considerations, including but not limited to weather conditions, make it irresponsible to carry out the activity, or if other unforeseen events beyond our control (force majeure) make it necessary. Such circumstances do not provide grounds for liability or compensation.

• The implementation of activities requires a minimum number of registered participants determined by Rampen If this number is not reached, the Rampen reserves the right to cancel the activity. In the event of such cancellation, the amount paid will be refunded in full.

• Driving a motorized vehicle requires the presentation of a valid driver's license that meets the current legal and regulatory requirements for the vehicle in question. Rampen reserves the right to refuse participation in activities where the participant is required to drive a motorized vehicle if a valid driver's license is not presented.

• Rampen reserves the right to refuse participation in an activity if a participant does not follow instructions from our guides, poses a safety risk to themselves or others, or behaves in a manner that is disruptive to the other participants and/or Rampen's guides and employees. If any participation is refused on the basis of the above, the amount paid will not be refunded.

• Participation in any of Rampen's activities under the influence of alcohol and/or other drugs is strictly prohibited, and Rampen reserves the right to refuse participation if there is suspicion of the influence of alcohol and/or other drugs. If any participation is refused on the basis of the above-mentioned circumstances, the amount paid will not be refunded.

Insurance

• You are responsible for any necessary insurance related to your trip and activities, including travel and leisure insurance.

Participation at your own risk

• All participation in activities provided by Rampen is done at your own responsibility and risk.

• The customer is responsible for assessing whether their own physical and mental health is compatible with participation. 

• Participants are required to follow all instructions from Rampen's guides and employees. 

• Rampen disclaims liability for loss or damage to persons, property or clothing that may occur in connection with the activity, unless the damage is due to gross negligence or intent on the part of Rampen.

Limitation of liability for indirect losses

Rampen is not liable for indirect losses resulting from cancellation or change of activity, including, but not limited to, travel expenses, lost earnings or other consequential losses.

Equipment, vehicles and liability

The participant is responsible for handling all equipment and any vehicles borrowed, rented or made available by Rampen , in a careful and prudent manner.

In the event of damage or loss of equipment or vehicles as a result of negligence, breach of safety regulations or incorrect use, Rampen claim compensation equivalent to the cost of repair or replacement.

If the activity involves driving a snowmobile or other motorized vehicle, the participant is responsible for following applicable laws, regulations and driving guidelines, as well as for any injuries caused by negligent or irresponsible driving.

Use of photos and videos

Rampen From time to time, we take photos and videos in connection with the implementation of activities. Such recordings are used partly for private sharing with participants, and partly for marketing Rampen's activities through websites, social media and other information materials.

Before the activity starts, all participants will be given the opportunity to make reservations against photography and video recording. If such reservations are not made, they will be considered Rampen to have obtained the participant's consent to use the recordings for marketing purposes.

Rampen emphasizes portraying participants and activities in a respectful and positive manner, and does not publish material that could be perceived as offensive or disadvantageous.

Rampen does not allow the use of drones, either before, during or after participation in activities organized by Rampen , or at Rampen's facilities in general.

Privacy

Rampen processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation (GDPR). Personal data is used exclusively for the administration, implementation and follow-up of activities.

Insurance

Anyone participating in any of Rampen's activities is responsible for having the necessary insurance that covers the activity in question.

Language and interpretation

These terms and conditions have also been translated into English for your information. In the event of any conflict between the Norwegian and English versions, the Norwegian version shall prevail.

Applicable law and venue

These terms and conditions are subject to Norwegian law.
Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably shall be brought before the ordinary courts, including Salten and Lofoten District Court. as venue.
